TheGivingMachine Sponsorship Campaign

In the summer of 2006, Jonathan, Richard, Mark and Craig met to discuss how they could build a company to give money away to schools and charities.

With a combination of the odd beer or two, pizza and Thursday nights, the concept of TheGivingMachine was born, and an early website was created. Free donations for local causes in Bishop’s Stortford then started to flow. In 2007, TheGivingMachine started expanding to support causes across the UK.

First Impressions were asked to create a series of videos to help deliver the story of TheGivingMachine to four different audiences – Potential Sponsors, New Givers, New Causes and Potential Partners.

Our challenge was to explain the unique way in which TheGivingMachine generates free donations whilst remaining emotive and engaging.

We filmed at several separate locations including the YMCA, Age Concern and TheGivingMachine’s head office to produce the following videos.
